TV Presenter – Full Time

Newcastle

£16,000 per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for one individual to gain that first step on the ladder, or to develop their career, as a TV Presenter.

This is a unique chance to work on a programme broadcast daily with a game show slant. The role will work on a number of well known national online bingo brands.

As a TV Presenter you will be beamed live into people’s homes on a daily basis and will become part of their daily routine. As such, we’re looking for the cream of the crop of talent to help make this new programme a success.

Previous experience isn’t essential for this role; however it would be beneficial if you have any radio, stage, screen and drama experience. At a minimum though, you’ll need a clear and confident speaking voice, a likeable personality and an interest in bingo, TV and gossip columns.

Your role will be to introduce, present and host all programmes in a professional manner; acting as the final link in communicating a programme's message to viewers. This is a multi-tasking role which will require you to work as both presenter and studio executive/producer.

Typical duties will include:

- meeting the production team to go through the running order of the programme

- preparing material for links/bridging games

- presenting, interviewing guests and interacting with studio audiences

- participating in PR and marketing activities to promote the show and the brands associated with it

- checking that equipment, such as microphones and earpieces, are working before the show

To be considered, you must possess a confident outgoing manner and a good sense of humour, and be quick witted with the ability to improvise.

In addition to a clear speaking voice, you should also have an excellent command of English, a natural reading style and the ability to build rapport with audiences.

Although not essential, some performing experience and a degree or equivalent would be beneficial to your application.

To apply for the role of TV Presenter, please simply send your CV and a covering letter via the button shown.
