We are currently recruiting for an experienced External Contracts Manager to join a busy Property Care team within a leading Housing Association.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and contractor management experience to take ownership of a major roofing programme alongside a range of externally delivered maintenance contracts including windows, doors, roofing and external works projects.

The Role
- Managing externally sourced maintenance and refurbishment contracts
- Overseeing roofing replacement programmes and specialist external works
- Ensuring contractors deliver works to agreed quality, budget and timescales
- Building strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders while driving service improvements
- Monitoring financial, contractual and compliance performance
- Managing specialist maintenance projects requiring technical expertise
- Attending sites, contractor meetings and office collaboration days across the region
- Experience working within a Housing Association or social housing environment
- Strong technical understanding of property maintenance and external works
- Experience managing contractors, programmes and project delivery
- Confident challenging performance and driving continuous improvement
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region
